Special and engineered instrumentation

Our company has designed and manufactured a series of special analysis systems including:

  • Open Path FTIR Systems for Emission and Transmission Readings - Remote Sensing Systems -
  • SPECTROPHOTOMETRIC SYSTEMS FOR THE DETERMINATION OF INDIGO

OPEN PATH FTIR SYSTEM

for open-path emission and transmission measurements

System for environmental analysis and emission control based on Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) technology.
The Infrared Analyzer is able to perform an analysis of the Infrared spectrum (Mid IR or Far IR or Near IR) using an open optical path (Open Path) determined by the operator simply by positioning the source module and the spectrometer/Detector/Telescope module so as to include the optical path of interest between the two modules.

The system is easily transportable and simple and intuitive to use.

It is composed of a steerable infrared source, a telescope to focus the incident radiation, a high-resolution FTIR spectrometer (interchangeable interfractor, optics and detector); everything is managed by a software operating in a Windows environment from a personal computer.

The user simply needs to determine the optical path of interest and, guided by the software, perform a multiparametric analysis of different types of gases of industrial, ecological and research interest.

Systems for the determination of indigo

Thesystemfor thedeterminationautomatic of theINDIGOIt is based on UV/VIS Spectrophotometry.
The spectrophotometer is part of a computerized system completed by an automatic diluter and software operating in a Windows environment capable of managing the various modules as well as acquiring and processing the data coming from them.
The spectrophotometer, after the dye has been appropriately diluted, determines the UV/VIS spectrum of the indigo which is analyzed and normalized with respect to a series of standards of known concentration.
The results are stored in a comprehensive report and can also be printed.
The software requires an IBM AT compatible PC and a Microlab model or compatible single-syringe automatic diluter dispenser.
The software, the "heart of the system", is able to perform a qualitative and quantitative determination of the colorant in the dye baths:

  • Quantitative analysis of the INDIGO weight in the dye bath based on a calibration line.
  • Qualitative analysis with normalization of the absorbance spectrum of the bath compared with the spectrum of a reference standard.
  • Automatic control and execution of dye dilution.
  • Controlling the dominant wavelength.
  • Ability to use previously analyzed samples as new calibration spectra.
